President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev:” We are on the right path! Karabakh is ours! Karabakh is Azerbaijan!”

The ongoing clashes near Nagorno-Karabakh started after Armenia attacked Azerbaijani civilians and military on September 27, 2020. The second Karabakh war has been going on for about a month. Azerbaijan launched a counter-offensive operation along the line of the contact on the same day to protect its civilians.

During this time, the glorious Azerbaijani Army has liberated many settlements from the enemy. Thousands of citizens have volunteered for military service across the country to fight Armenia’s increased military aggression. The volunteers come from various ethnic, religious, social backgrounds and are united around the cause to restore the country’s territorial integrity as well as justice.

Nagorno-Karabakh issue is Azerbaijan’s historical mission.The Azerbaijani people are tolerant. The legal framework for the settlement of the conflict is quite broad. Azerbaijan has  expanded this framework.  The UN General Assembly has adopted a resolution, the Non-Aligned Movement, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the European Parliament and other organizations. Justice and international law are on Azerbaijan side. Azerbaijan people will definitely return to their lands by military-political means and will  resolve the issue politically. This war is a patriotic war for Azerbaijanians. The Nagorno Karabakh problem will be solved in favor of the citizens of the multinational Azerbaijan.
