International Multicultural Network Representative at the Paris Peace Forum






International Multicultural Network  Marketing and PR Manager, Mr. Muhammad Umar Mir was invited to take part in the first Paris Peace Forum, an initiative launched by President Emmanuel Macron of France in support of international collaboration and collective responsibility. The event brought together world leaderes including Angela Merkel, Chancellor of Germany and Antonio Guterres, UN Secretary General.



The first ever edition took place from 11-13 of November with over 70 heads of state present to discuss and debate global governance. This international meeting is to become an annual event promoting governance solutions in five key areas: peace and security, environment, development, new technologies, and inclusive economy.


For the inauguration of this first edition, Emmanuel Macron invited Antonio Guterres, UN Secretary General, to mediate the debate by his side at the Grande Halle de La Villette in Paris on November 11, before an assembly of heads of state and key stakeholders in global governance. The Forum’s rich programme also included over 60 panels and roundtables on topics pertaining to global governance.The Paris Peace Forum is a symposium for discussion and debate, but also a space for showcasing innovative projects from across the globe led by various stakeholders in governance, including international organizations, NGOs, think tanks, universities, companies and individuals, with a special emphasis on civil society initiatives.
