Dr. Andrzej Klimczuk, is Independent Researcher and Social Policy Consultant at the Collegium
of Socio-Economics at Warsaw School of Economics, Poland. His research focuses
on gerontology, labor economics, public management,cultural and social policy. He has
more than 100 publications including 54 chapters in books and 9 chapters in 5 encyclopedias (Encyclopedia of Human Services and Diversity;
The Encyclopedia of Diversity and Social
Justice; The
Wiley Blackwell Encyclopedia of Consumption and Consumer Studies; International
Encyclopedia of the Social and Behavioral Sciences, 2nd Edition; The SAGE
Encyclopedia of World Poverty, 2nd Edition). He has published academic articles in
both Polish and English in sociology and economics journals, and his most
recent publications include Social
Capital of Old People on the Example of Bialystok Residents (in Polish), Experts and Cultural Narcissism, Aging in the Social Space (co-authored
with Łukasz Tomczyk), Economic
Foundations for Creative Ageing Policy, Volume I, and Generations, Intergenerational Relationships, Generational Policy (edited
by K. Lüscher and A. Hoff).
